    YOUR DISTRICT

    What Is District 3?

West Sacramento elects its City Council by district. That means the city is divided into geographic areas, and each district elects its own councilmember to represent the people who live there. Every registered voter in a district casts a ballot for their district's seat.

District 3 is one of those districts. If you live within its boundaries, you vote for the District 3 City Council seat on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Your councilmember is your direct voice at City Hall — the person who represents your neighborhood on decisions about roads, public safety, housing, parks, and city services.
